Youth Baseball Camp


MOSINEE YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP

Campers should enroll in sessions based on the grade they are currently in. Each session will include two hours of instruction, mechanics, drills, and techniques that will improve the skills of a player at any level. Saturday, March 29 will be devoted to developing pitching and hitting skills and Sunday, March 30 will feature fielding, throwing fundamentals, and base running techniques. Campers may sign-up for one day for $20 or both days for $30. Each camper will receive a t-shirt with their paid registration.

CAMPERS

WHAT TO BRING

Each athlete should bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to have fun, while focusing on improving as a baseball player. Campers should also bring tennis shoes, water bottle, glove, bat (if available), and protective gear.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION

Preregistration is strongly recommended. Camp slots will fill fast, so don’t miss out. Turn your registration in during Youth Baseball Sign-up Night to secure your spot.

We will accept on-site registrations 15 minutes before the start of camp, if there is space available. Shirts are not guaranteed for campers registering the day of camp.

PARENTS ARE INVITED!

Parents — this is a great opportunity for you to learn skills and drills you can use to practice with your child at home.

 

CAMP STAFF

ADAM OLSON, MOSINEE HEAD BASEBALL COACH

Coach Olson is a 2002 graduate of Mosinee High School. During his high school career he was a two-time First Team All-Conference pitcher with a career ERA of .66 and .436 batting average. His senior year, he was selected to play in the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) State All-Star game. Following high school, he attended UW-Stout earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education. As a Stout Blue Devil, he was a utility player — pitching and playing every position except catcher. Prior to accepting the Mosinee position, Coach Olson was a Varsity Assistant/Head JV Baseball Coach at D.C. Everest High School and the JV Baseball Coach at Davenport North High School in Iowa.

MOSINEE HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL TEAM MEMBERS

The Mosinee High School baseball team will be joining each of the groups at the camp to ensure personalized help is given to all campers.

MOSINEE YOUTH BASEBALL COACHES

Many of the volunteer youth coaches will also be in attendance to learn the skills and drills they can use with their teams throughout the season.
